Bi-Lo Run: November 10th

This morning I did a quick trip to Bi-Lo to pick up the cases of Nesquik that I had ordered. I picked up a few other things and this is the fabulous deal I got:

Curel deal from Target

Last week and this week I have gone to Target several times to receive a great deal that they've had with Curel lotion. On most tubes, they've had the deal of Buy 2 and get a $5 gift card (GC). I found some that are priced at $3.59 and I used my $1/1 coupon from the 10/9 SS insert. That makes them $2.59 each, so 2 together are $5.18. Then you receive the GC. So, it's kind of like paying $.18 for the lotion, but you still have to use the gift card, so we won't count it that way.

This is how I did one of my recent trips:

Every year, my husband's family does the Dirty Santa gift thingy at Xmas. I bought 4 Curel lotions for $10.79 and received my 2 $5 GCs. I used those to go towards my Dirty Santa gift (usually we aim at a $20 gift). I found a CrockPot on sale for $16 (normally $25), so my $10 went towards this.

In the end, it was like I bought the crockpot and got the lotion for free.

Target run: Halloween sales and more

So I didn't score much in Halloween gear, but I was able to make a nice purchase with things that I had been wanting.

Target run: $100.65 before, $27.48 after coupons.

Every week I check my Bi-Lo circular and see what I have coupons for. This week these are the deals I have found to use my coupons on. Some of these coupons I may have had for a couple of months+.

• Texas Pete hot sauce $1.29: use $.40/1 to double to $.80....total price = $.49
• Yoplait Yogurt w/ granola 2 for $4: use $.50/1 to double to $1.00....total price = $1.00
• Carolina Pride bacon $2.99: use $.50/1 to double to $1.00....total price = $1.99
• Ragu pasta sauce $1.49: use e-coupon for $.50 off = $.99
• Progresso Soup 10 for $10: use $1/4 = $3 for 4 cans (you don't have to purchase 10 to get the original savings
